Analyzing Power Losses and Performance of an Isolated DC-DC Converter for Renewable Energies Systems

DC-DC converters are essential in the interconnection of photovoltaic (PV) systems and that operate at different voltages, frequencies, powers, such as smart grids. Due to energy transition, therefore need for high efficiency PV grids, there is a great challenge develop with highest possible efficiency. Therefore, this paper an isolated converter easy implementation developed, comparison other similar structures. In it necessary address analysis design transformer. Poor performance element can contribute losses low topology. This study proposes (FBDC) operates levels harmonic content its supply. The subjected two (2L) three (3L), which affects THD value. proposed model simulated MATLAB-Simulink validated laboratory prototype. Finally, prototype incorporated into multilevel FBDC topology, obtaining 96.6% 2L 97.0% 3L laboratory, showing design.
